Assist in the preparation of the financial reports and accounts for all Sectors in ADEC and consolidate these to produce financial accounts for ADEC as a whole ensuring accuracy and consistency in work produced;
Ensure all accounts prepared meets all guidelines and standards set by the Department of Finance, the Ministry of Finance and any international accounting standards as appropriate;
Administer the preparation, distribution and payment collection of invoices for ADEC ensuring all debtor and creditor payments are made in a timely manner;
Ensure accurate recording and verifying of all invoices received to ADEC and maintenance of appropriate auditing practices to limit financial risks faced by ADEC;
Prepare and review the month and year-end closing schedules; manage the GL closing activities and ensure that they are completed in accordance to the guidelines set by Department of Finance;
Prepare financial reports for financial analysis, forecasting, trending and results analysis and ensure timely and accurate provision of these reports to the various ADEC Divisions to assist in business operations.
